Dr. Adrian Helmsley, a member of a worldwide geophysical team investigating the influence on the earth of radiation out of unprecedented solar storms, and learns that the earth's heart is warming up. He cautioned U.S. President Thomas Wilson that the crust of the earth is getting unstable and without appropriate trainings for saving a fraction of the entire world's population, the entire race is doomed. Meanwhile, the writer Jackson Curtis stumbles about exactly the identical information. As the entire world's leaders race to construct"arks" to flee the impending cataclysm, Curtis struggles to find a way to save his family. Meanwhile, the volcanic eruptions and earthquakes of unprecedented strength wreak havoc across the environment.
