this is one of the movies I grew up with and thought was great . got a job that took me to New York in the Bronx I met the mother in this movie she actually lives in the Bronx and that is her real son the younger one she was great .Her father was a real gangster from the Bronx

one of my all time favorite movie! i live in Howard beach , Queens 5 minutes away from the aquaduct racetrack. the mother in this movie spends a lot of time in Howard beach. she hangs out on Crossbay Blvd at a Bagel joint called Old Country Bagel. small world.
