Pop sensations Alvin, Simon and Theodore end up in Dave Seville's Twentysomething nephew Toby's care. The boys must reserve music stardom and so are tasked with rescuing the music program of the school by winning the $25,000 prize in a battle of the rings. But the Chipmunks meet their match at three singing chipmunks called The Chipettes - Brittany, both Eleanor and Jeanette. If Chipettes and the Chipmunks square away, musical and romantic sparks are ignited.
