4.1
Based on the best selling autobiography by Irish expat Frank McCourt, Angela's Ashes follows the experiences of young Frankie and his family as they try to escape the poverty endemic in the slums of pre-war Limerick. The movie opens with your family from Brooklyn, but after a departure of one of the siblings of Frankie, they come back home, only to discover the specific situation there even worse. Prejudice against Frankie's Northern dad makes his search for employment from the Republic difficult despite his having struggled for the IRA, when he does find moneyhe spends money .
