Annie is a happy foster kid who is also tough enough to make her way on the streets of nyc in 2014. But everything's going to change if the hardnosed tycoon along with nyc mayoral candidate Will Stacks--informed by his VP along with his sensible and scheming campaign adviser --makes a thinly-veiled effort movement and shoots her in. Bright perspective on life and Annie's self assured nature just might mean it's another way round, although stacks considers he's her guardian angel.
