Hushpuppy, lives with her father, an girl, Wink at the edge of the world at' the bath tub', a southern Delta community. She is prepared by wink's tough love to the unraveling of the world. After a mysterious illness contracts, temperament flies out of whack --temperatures grow, and also the ice caps meltdown, unleashing an army of creatures called aurochs. With the aurochs arriving, the waters rising, along with Wink's health Hushpuppy goes in search of her mum.
