not only terrifyingly dangerous, on top, our armed forces have to be away from family. not so easy for dependants either. my dad was chief medical officer stationed on hospital ship REPOSE and a mash unit in da‘nang. I missed him a lot, Mom raised 3 girls alone. such sacrifices!

I was in the corps during this time & although I wasn't involved in this engagement... watching the footage on TV I was so pissed off because they waited till all our Marine corps units pulled out before they launched any type of offensive attack against the army
