A town--where everyone else seems to be named Johnson--stands in the form of their railroad. In order to catch their property, robber baron Hedley Lemar sends his henchmen to create life in town unbearable. After the sheriff is killed, the town demands a new sheriff therefore Hedley convinces him to send the very first black sheriff in the west to the town.
