After Environmental Protection Agency inspector Steve Malone travels into a remote military base in order to look after stuff that are toxic, he also brings his family along for the ride. After coming to the base, his teenage daughter Jean Platt, daughter of their base's commander, General Platt is befriended by Marti. Marti becomes convinced they are slowly being replaced by plant-like aliens when people at the base begin behaving strangely.
