In this modern-day retelling of the biblical legend of Cain and Abel, strong-willed matriarch Seora Pina prefers her younger son Ellis over Loren, whom she blames for her husband's death. Loren becomes a responsible family man despite his growing resentment towards his mother, while Ellis grows up cowardly and spoiled.
