I really appreciated the themes and lessons within this slept in movie. I sleep on it and I'm so glad I woke up and gave it a shot. Decisions we make matter and some matter more than others. Overall a good movie and surprisingly good acting from rapper Meek Mill. His role was really befitting of himself.

A great movie about the youthful pursuit of genuine freedom and expression. It's a big bad world that awaits a young man. But this cleverly acted out and well made story let us witness how a young man's future shapes up when met with a web of cross roads.

Great cast , Meek did his thing so proud of his performance. Mouse the actor did an excellent job , but mouse the character was terrible and a lot of people suffered because of his stupidity and mistakes. Other than that loved seeing Baltimore, and everything this film had to offer .

The movie was great! Shows how life and culture is in Baltimore, the acting was great by meek mill in this movie and the rest of the cast. Ending of the movie showed how dangerous the life of crime really is.

This film is outstanding. The story, the performances, simply all of it felt as real as it gets. Also, that steadicam operator was incredible. The movement of the camera just made me feel as if I was in every space the action was taking place.

the thing I liked most about this movie is the beginning. I really loved the depiction of the kids lives. That there wasn't a huge negative element. yes there were a few beats of sadness, but it mostly showed kids being kids. Having fun, cracking jokes, playing wrestling etc.

Plastic endingI liked the movie until the end where he goes to jail for the boy. It's just unrealistic that he would take the hit, no matter what happened earlier, especially being on parole.

If you've seen the documentary 12:00 Boys (which is a must see) then you'll know that this story has been told only not as good as the original doc.
