I am a fan of Kevin Smith, and I believe that if he had this heart felt meaning for an ending, for people to understand that Dante deserved a happy ending, then I am glad he got to be with his family, and no longer had to be depressed in his life.

Kevin Smith had the idea to kill Dante from the Original Ending of Clerks, and when it was shot down, he created another ending, so that in the long run, Dante's death would mean something to all of us fans of Clerks, and even though it was a sad ending, it was well deserved.

7:11 OMG 😱 What happened to Elias Grover (Trevor Fehrman)? He got really fat and even more weird looking than he was. in case you don't know who I'm talking about, I'm talking about The Lord Of The Rings Virgin Fan Boy that worked with Dante and Randall @ Mooby's Burger joint.

the best and saddest movies Kevin Smith had ever made love him as a director. r I p Dante hicks,may your actor go on to many bigger and better things. thank you Mr Smith for all the joy you have brought through the years and here's to another 40 years of great movies.

if you watched all the movies you would get that this is on point with the others and it was worth the wait.
