A machine which makes rain food, enabling Chewandswallow's down-and-out taxpayers to nourish themselves is created by inventor Flint Lockwood. But when enormous proportions are reached by the food, Flint must struggle to prevent catastrophe. Could he regain control of the machine and put an end before the town is destroyed?
