The Hardys want to spend a quiet evening in their apartment, but the Laurels show up and ruin their plans. Stan and Ollie go out for ice cream, and on their way back home, they stop a mean woman from killing herself. The woman is not grateful and threatens them if they don't take care of her. They have a crazy night trying to keep her from getting to their wives.
