For three and a half a year, at the saltwater, amid the mud and shattered trees using a rubber farm named Long Tan, Major Harry Smith along with his dispersed company of 108 young and mostly inexperienced Australian and New Zealand soldiers are still fighting for their lives, holding an overwhelming enemy force of 2,500 conflict hardened Viet Cong and North Vietnamese soldiers.
