Emma - 1996

Emma Woodhouse has a sense of propriety as it pertains alliances. Regrettably she causes her to come to despair, and so insists on match making for her friend, Harriet. Through the sharp voice of Mr. Knightley, and also the illustration of this opinionated Mrs. Elton, some one not unlike herself, Emma's attitudes start to soften.
