Bumbling Ernest P. Worrell is assigned to jury duty, where a jagged lawyer notices a resemblance with crime boss Mr. Nash, and arranges a turn. While Ernest undergoes Nash's sentence into the chair, nash assumes Ernest's job for a bank employee. But rather than killing himthe electrocution gives Ernest super human powers, enabling him foil Nash's make an effort to rob the bank and to flee from jail.
