A means to see people's memories is invented by thomas Jacobs. He accepts an offer to go into the memories to see if a crime was committed by him of a heroin addict. But a malfunction causes his awareness. He stays a captive from the enthusiast's memories for more than four years before he discovers the possibility of escape.
