A 1980s sci-fi show's stars --today eking out a living throughout literary conventions and re runs --are beamed aboard an alien spacecraft. Believing that the cast's heroic dramas that are on-screen are historical records of experiences, the band of aliens turn in their quest to the cast members for assistance.
