TRINIDAD - also a vagrant on the streets of Port of Spain, King Curtis, is ignored by passersby. He speaks of course, when he's got to - sometimes shouts the truth about the stories behind the newspaper headlines. Whilst the conductor of the narrative, King Curtis introduces us to a young man named Charlie... Charlie, a resident west of the lighthouse, will be trying his best to stay on the right path. However, with no occupation in sight, he is finding it tough to say no to additional"opportunities". A possibility of salvation gifts it self once a street-walker, Dinah, strikes his path.
