Edith and her mother, edie Bouvier Beale, two aging, eccentric family members of Jackie Kennedy Onassisare the inhabitants of a Long Island estate. The ladies show themselves to be misfits with oversize, engaging characters. Much of the dialog is centered as kid and mother now rarely leave.
