In 1989, a breakthrough in"advanced parasitic research" on Cuttyhunk Island gave scientists that a jump in human development. Initial evaluations demonstrated promising, as subjects experienced improved comprehension as well as physical and emotional strength. But - some thing at the experiment went horribly wrong, and the island inexplicably lost three quarters of its population.
