Richard Widmark leads an all star cast of leathernecks including Jack Palance, Robert Wagner, Karl Malden, Richard Boone and Jack Webb into conflict on a fortified island. Since they pick their way through jungles on a time assignment to find the source of the enemy rockets, this action-packed story follows the squad. Since the mission progresses, the squad and pioneer overcome many struggles as they're converted into an efficient and effective fighting unit.
