Based on a real story,"House On The Hill" is just a true crime melodrama with strong horror elements, chronicling the outrageous 1980s murder spree of serial killer Leonard Lake, who'd aim, kidnap, rob and kill people - and also whole families. The sole survivor of the killing spree of Lake, sonia, teams up with a detective agency to help him choose a woman who disappeared in to the compound of Lake. From the act, Sonia recounts the horrors of the house, where Lake and his accomplice would force her to video tape the killings.
