With the impending ice age almost up on them, a mismatched trio of creatures -- Diego the sabertoothed tiger Manny the woolly mammoth along with Sid the giant sloth -- find the orphaned infant and opt to return it into its parents. Along the way, the allies become friends however when enemies attack, their quest takes on much nobler aims.
