Charlie Lang is a kind hearted New York City cop. When he realizes he does not have any money to tip waitress Yvonne Biasi,'' Lang supplies her half his lottery ticket's winnings. Amazingly, the ticket happens to be a winner, in the sum of 4 million. True to his word, Lang proceeds to split the prize money by Biasi, that infuriates Muriel, his wife. Not satisfied with the deal, Muriel begins scheming to carry the money.
