A city cop from LA goes to some smaller town police force and immediately finds himself investigating a murder. Using concepts rejected by his own coworkers, John Berlin, the cop, meets with a blind woman named Helena, that he is attracted to. Meanwhile, a serial killer is on the loose and just John knows it.
