Mia, an aspiring actress, acts lattes to picture stars between auditions and Sebastian, a jazz musician, scrapes by playing Cocktailparty gigs in dingy bars, but as success mounts that they are facing conclusions that start to fray the fragile fabric of their relationship, and also the fantasies they worked so tough to maintain in one another threaten to tear them apart.
