Set throughout the Warlords Period of this 1920sbandit main Zhang is based upon a provincial town posing as its mayor, an identity that he had chased himself that a smalltime imposter, from Old Tang. Hell bent on building a buck, Zhang soon meets his match from the tyrannical local gentry Huang as a battle of brutality and humor ensues.
