A set of college kids traveling to some small, mountain town called Madison County to see that the author of a novel on the accounts of several murders that happened . However mcdougal is, as soon as the youngsters reach Madison County and the Townspeople behave as though they haven't seen him . In addition they say that the killer existed and the murders never happened. But once the kids start digging to get their responses they learn that the stories more real than the townspeople are allowing!
