Unemployed artist Jonathan Switcher finds work as an assistant window dresser in a department shop. As soon as Jonathan meets an old friend, Emmy, an Egyptian under an ancient curse, she bursts to life and announces herself as Jonathan. Contrary to the manager's wishes, Jonathan and his mannequin fall in love while creating eye-catching window displays for the struggling store.
