Martin slices their wrists with a razor blade he can drink their blood and sedates women with a syringe filled with narcotics vessels. Martin, that comes to live with his uncle and cousin in the dying town of Braddock, Pennsylvania, has literary fantasies of torch-lit mobs along with vampiric seductions, but it is impossible to tell how badly he chooses them.
