Liu Yifei plays with a French flutist who travels in Paris to Chengdu, Elso. Her life is compared to one of an ceaseless conflict between life, a night peacock and death, time and love. A night peacock, by Fabre's definition, can be just a moth with the life goal of finding their soulmate.
