Mouna Rudo was first born and raised one of the people, an indigenous tribe in Taiwan, so that since he turned out to become a man he became a member of their Seediq Bale, a courageous band of warriors. However, Rudo's way of life would be jeopardized from Japan, that took over the nation in 1895 under the yoke of forces. As Rudo sees the customs and honour of the people stripped off, he comprehends the time has come to fight back, and in 1930 he brings with a group of former Seediq Bale soldiers, so many of whom have been reduced to infighting, and molds them into a radical army. His comrades and rudo make their stand whenever they face Japanese occupation troops in a childhood event that is athletic, leading to a confrontation between their oppressors and the Seediq forces. Fans of the Rainbow: Seediq Bale - Part 1: The Sun Flag is Part among those two-part, four-hour Taiwanese version of the movie Warriors of the Rainbow.
