Daniel Lugo, director of the Sun Gym in 1990s Miami, determines there is just one way to achieve his version of their American dream: extortion. To reach his goal, he recruits Adrian and muscle-men Paul as accomplices. After a few efforts, they convince him to sign his resources to them and abduct businessman Victor Kershaw. However, when Kershaw makes it out alive, authorities are loath to believe his narrative.
