The Phantasm movies are not for everyone, they're for a very specific audience.

I'm 47yrs old now and I remember my brothers making me watch this movie when I was 5 or 6yrs old. I was scared and can't lie about it. Think due to my age, it was the scariest movie I'd ever seen. Now I watch it and l at it. Good movie still.

this is not a horrible film series at all... It's tremendously underrated when it comes to horror series like Halloween and Michael Myers or Friday the 13th with Jason... it's right up there with the best of em....

Loved this movie when it first came out. My family were big horror movie fans. And still are until this day. Phantasm is a big time classic etched into my movie memory.
