Monsieur Hulot finds himself perplexed by the complexity of a Paris. He tries to match a business touch but soon becomes lost. His round about journey parallels that of an American tourist, so that since they weave throughout the inventive urban environment, they normally meet, developing an interest in one another. They get together at a restaurant, along with many other unique personalities.
