When disc jockey Grant Mazzy accounts in the town of Pontypool to his cellar radio channel, he thinks it's another day on the job. But when he hears reports of a virus that turns people into zombies, Mazzy barricades himself and attempts to determine a means to warn his listeners regarding the herpes virus and its own improbable mode of transmitting.
