The movie was alright, I liked it enough. Mark was a much better character is this film, but the passing was too fast, everything happened real quick, not enough intense build up like the original.
Rodney Armstrong
that's two funny, like the rest of the country wouldn't wonder why this middle age man is running around with this teenage black boy. Hollywood has gone to shit.

This movie was pretty good but how is it an 11yr old take out almost all the vampires?! I thought it would be more of a build up but it seemed like once the ball started rolling it rolled right to the conclusion of the movie but I'm good with it, get straight to the point[00

The old Salems Lot creeper me out so bad when I was young. For weeks all I could see was that boy at the window. This new one will have me wide awake for a few days. That old vampire bit into that first kid like a deserved snack. Well done.

yeah the fight on the playground when the principal I guess said to the kid when somebody says Uncle you'll let him up and then gave him a pat on the back. I'm just going down memory lane aaahhhh the good old days

I teally liked this newer version.it had sytuff going on from the start no slow begining. I definetly will be watching this again this is the kinda horror movie they need to make more of 10 out 10 ☆'s in my opinion!]

it wound up being good, but the whole storyline felt rushed and compacted
Sherri Puckett
I liked this remake. Not as good as the classic, but it didn't try to be. Just quirky and fun.

I grew up reading Stephen King and can tell you this is a very good remake of Salem's Lot. Also the production was do a in a classic Stephen King way!
Also the Easter eggs from the start, if you are a fan!! 9/10

it was a good remake. Not better than the original version. the 2nd version was better. the head vampire wasn't menacing enough. But this was n the hands of the brilliant James Wan. I give him his props. They changed the race of some of the cast. which is always good.

Man this sucked big time. The '79 version was a lot better. I managed the 1st hour before I skipped to the end, none of it was good.🤢🤢

Good movie. Day time take one of several Mustangs. Clean the bank and drug store. Get the f..k out of Dodge. All this easier in the 70s than today.

the movie was alright. better then most remakes but everything was a direct copycat... AND NOT ENOUGH ACTION OR PLOT STORY FROM THE CHARACTER BARLOW AND THE VAMPIRES. IT JUST TURNED REALLY FAST AND ENDED FASTER WITHOUT REAL THINGS TO GRASP AND BRING THE VIEWER IN.
