Writer Paul Benjamin is not quite hit by a bus when he leaves Auggie Wren's smoke shop. Stranger Rashid Cole conserves his entire life , and so on middle aged Paul tells Rashid he wouldn't obey a house mate that is short-term. Still grieving over the murder of his wife, Paul is transferred from both Rashid's quest to reconnect which is about to give birth.
