The clumsy and unfunny clown Richard"Stitches" Grindle entertains at the 10th birthday party of little Tom, however the boy and his buddies play a prank using Stitches, tying his shoelaces. Stitches falls, slips and dies. Revenge his own departure and Stitches revives to haunt the youth, although six years later, Tom gives a birthday party for his friends at home.
