Mark Sway, A street wise kid, sees Jerome Clifford, a dominant Louisiana lawyer, whose current client is Barry' The Blade' Muldano, a Mafia hit-man's suicide. He tells Mark where the body of a Senator is buried before Jerome shoots himself. Clifford shoots himself and Mark is situated in the scene, and the FBI and the Mafia immediately recognize that Mark probably knows more than he says.
