At the mid-1980s, the U.S. is still poised on the verge of nuclear war. As they continue their everyday lives, this shadow looms across the residents of some little town in Kansas. Dr. Russell Oakes maintains his busy schedule at the hospital, Denise Dahlberg prepares for the upcoming wedding, also Stephen Klein is deep in his graduate studies. After the unthinkable happens along with the bombs return, the residents of town are throw in to the horrors of winter.

when I first saw this movie I was only 6 years old. It scared the crap out of me, I thought it was going to happen soon, but it didn't. Now I am a 46 year old woman. great movie though! [05
