Obi Wan was there when the twins were born and decided to separate them for their safety.

I was glad Luke lost the fight with vader,because like his father,he is very reckless,& impulsive.Braging that he can feel the Force but couldn't even lift his own ship out of the swamp,so how us he going to rescue his friends,when half the time he can't even save himself.
