1930s Korea, in the time amount of occupation, a woman is hired as a handmaiden into a heiress who lives a life on a countryside mansion along with her domineering uncle. But, the maid has a secret: she's a pickpocket recruited by means of a swindler posing as a count that is Japanese to help him subdue the heiress to elope with himrob her lock her up.
