Average Texas teen, Billie Jean Davy, is swept up in an odd struggle for justice. She harassed around by boys and is often followed, that, one day, decide to waste her brother's scooter for pleasure. The boys' father refuses to pay them back the cost of the scooter. The struggle for"fair is fair" takes the adolescents across the country and produces an unlikely hero.
