I don't care that it's animated, it's just not LoTR in principle.
The writing seems fine but it has the inflection of claymation, and hypersensitive egos and banishing lack tact for the situations.
It seems like they could have used more updated animation

it's an ok movie. I'm not a big fan of it being animated or the super human strength, and it doesn't really feel like lotr much at all. other than that, it's enjoyable
