Col. Vincent Kane is a military psychiatrist who takes charge of a military mental hospital situated in a secluded castle. One of Kane's many eccentric patients would be Capt. Billy Cutshaw, a distressed astronaut inside the middle of an existential crisis. Even though Kane grasp on sanity is questionable, he manages to participate.
