The film tells the story of documentary filmmaker Michael King (Shane Johnson), who doesn't believe in God or the Devil. Following the sudden passing of his spouse, Michael decides to produce his upcoming film about the quest for the existence of the supernatural, making himself the guts of the experiment -- allowing demonologists, necromancers, and various practitioners of the occult to try out the deepest and darkest charms and rituals they could find on him -- in the hopes that once they neglect, he'll once and for all have proof that religion, spiritualism, and the paranormal are merely dream. But something does happen. Michael King has been taken over by an force. Also it won't let him proceed.
