what an incredible story! The bravery and resilience of these women is truly inspirational. It had me in tears and left me in awe. A powerful reminder of the sacrifices and contributions that often go untold. Could have done without Evil Oprahβs involvement, though.

I find it extremely odd that if you are at war and you despise a certain group/race of people, why not have them on the front lines fighting, instead of having them serve as cooks, postal services, delivery etc.
Seems logical to send them to their deaths....

The "Six Triple Eight" is a fascinating, riveting, historical drama. It delivers a well crafted narrative that effectively captures the trials and triumphs of the Black women of the "WAC" battalion in WWII.
The phenomenal performance of Kerry Washington is Oscar worthy. ππΎβ₯οΈπ―%

B/c of the 6888, all the mail in the following wars was delivered. I was in the 1st Gulf War and got mail and care packages in record time b/c the 6888 showed the military how to get it done. Now I know who to be grateful to for the mail. So glad their story was finally told.

as a black soldier in the '70s late 70s and 80s and then again in 2001 all I can say is that's one hell of a movie that's what a black African-American person of color supposed to carry as long as they signed the dotted line you must always represent yourself and I the US Army
